I attended the event for kanada day on 1st juli. the event was fantastic until 19 o'clock, she really went out everything, great menu (although there are not enough cheese curds on the poutine) and a great facility. they went the extra mile and...hate ****. the problems started around 19 clock when the Canadian dj left. I visited the dj to apply for a song around 19 o'clock, I didn't know that this dj had its own agenda. I asked him to play a song he said he didn't. I said you could get it, he said he didn't have any interest. I said I could see him, he said it didn't work that way that he couldn't get the music. I said I had apple music that he could use my phone. he said no and that he was hired to play 80s music. to which I answered that it is kanada day, the event is for kanada day. he said if I prefer dj that I should tell him manager. I spoke to his manager maybe an hour later because the music was bad. his manager rolled my eyes, he said the dj is hired to meet everyone and not just me. I told the manager (who was a short man wearing a jersey and had a goggle) that this event will be advertised for kanada day and that it would be Canadian music. he didn't care, he didn't talk to the dj, he was evil, unprofessional and should not be in this position. would not pass these information to all Canadian communities in brisbane.

Wow! The staff went above and beyond when the rain unexpectedly arrived during our outdoor event. They quickly sprang into action, moving the entire function to a different area, adjusting the lights and decorations, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. It was a fantastic evening, with delicious food, great hospitality, and exceptional service. I highly recommend them - you don't often come across this kind of outstanding service.

I've been going to this pub for years but usually just for drinks in the front bar. And I like it for that purpose. The staff have always been friendly and the beers and wine have been good. However, yesterday 2 of us decided to...try the food and put simply it was terrible! On the recommendation of a staff member I had the Spice Spice Baby Schnitzel and it was overcooked, unseasoned, dry and bland. The topping of ham was flavourless, as was the mozzarella. The only good things on the plate was the chips and salad. My friend had Valley Metro Pizza and once again it was bland (I tried a piece). The base tasted more like a frozen pizza base and the mozzarella again was bland. The meat toppings were OK but regrettably they didn't save the pizza. In the past I've actually had good pub style food here and enjoyed it. But on what we were served yesterday we won't be eating here again. We'll still go back just for drinks however as there are so many nearby food options that offer far superior food we'll be eating elsewhere.

Great casual Venue with good bar menu and live music on weekends- large so suitable for groups and recommend going when they have Rockaoke on it's so much fun

Lots of beers on tap and places to sit and have a drink with friends. Love this place on a Sunday afternoon out in the sun. Can be a bit much once the lights go down if you just want a drink and not the...noise.
