The Walrus Club - Brisbane

We have been in the regatta hotel the boatshed restaurant in the past and we have not been here for several months. we came here for the date night. young, we were disappointed! to begin we had both the half-shell scallops dry overcooked for net, we had an eye fillt steak (boiled right,) but the bug cup was burned, but they still served it. we also had a fillet mignon, which should be cooked as medium, but rarely and with the Calamari cup came again on average. the Caesar salad was full of salt, so not edible, and the exaggerated were on average (2 tiny goats, no olives or roasted roots that we could see.) we paid $227 (with 2 rounds of drinks) so we expect much more than average eating. we will not be back!

I work in milton on the street where we have a business lunch. the regatta is an iconic hotel in brisbane that I always knew it was iconic, but had never lived in brisbane for 9 years from 2006-2015. the hotel is. Directly at the river brisbane (coronation drive) is an inheritance of the Victorian annoy that dates back to 1874. we ate in the boatshed restaurant I ordered the corn risotto, which was decent (vegetarian options were limited) the other 5 people all enjoyed their meal (menu is gastropub eat.) we sat in the restaurant area in the interior, but the place is huge with several rooms including a courtbar. I have recently started to eat vegetarian and could have done without the meat baskets on the full display in the window on the entrance, but otherwise it was a nice culinary experience.

We had organized the most beautiful Christmas celebration with the beautiful rita form the regatta hotel. the food was exceptional and for all. we enjoyed river city view and a beautiful summer afternoon with drinks and canapés on the deck of winterford. room we would definitely recommend this venue for Furrier functions!

The regatta hotel is iconic and a great pub. it has many sections / away. we fled to the walrus room today. what a great, atmospheric, underground and cocktailable! not too busy at early weekdays, but the bar person informs us, it really rock with live...music, at the weekends. for certain. great visit and fabulous, attentive and knowledgeable barman
