We were on the hunt for the best fries, being gluten-free, and found the perfect alternative in their sweet potato fries. Check out our full video review on our Facebook page, KikiandtheGreek.
My husband and I met friends for a Christmas dinner at the Witchin Kitchen. Our friend, who is a vegan artist, was thrilled with the menu options. The kitchen is located in an old corner shop with a coffee place attached. We loved the decoration, the flow, and the colorful glass windows. Our friends sampled a Vego/Vegan dish with a spicy orange puree - pumpkin or sweet potato? It was delicious. My husband enjoyed sweet potato, carrots, and corn fritters with ice cream, labneh, and salad. The fritters were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh and green, providing a healthy side. We also shared some fries with aioli, which were a tasty treat. I opted for the bugs brekkie burger with fried eggs, hash browns, halloumi, avocado, greens, and beetroot on a Brioche bun. Although the menu said it came with two eggs, I only received one, but it was still a delicious and satisfying dish. The avocado was creamy, the hollandaise sauce was a vibrant pink, and the egg was perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed a strawberry milkshake while I had a chocolate one. Overall, it was a very filling and enjoyable lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was a bit basic, with customers ordering at the counter, but that seems to be the norm these days. It didn't detract from our overall experience at the Witchin Kitchen.
