The breakfast was a buffet and there was a good selection, the sausages were the best I had eaten in a long time. Juicy, tasty I would have been happy with just sausages! Service was great and staff extra friendly. The only downside of this is the price for non hotel guests which is expensive compared to other restaurants.
Beautiful French understated elegant design! All the Novotel chain have a high standard and Bristol will not disappoint you. They do however charge extra for the Car Park, but overall the Hotel price is about normal for a City Centre. The staff were all excellent. Well done all!
We stayed at Novotel and part of out business stay was the dinner allowance. We as a business team dinner together and ordered different meals from the main menu. It was tasty and well presented. Service were top star from the begin to the end. Could not fault it. Well done/
In the absence of restaurants in the immediate vicinity and being unconvinced by a local pub we decide to take dinner at the hotel restaurant--and was very happy with the decision. My fish and chips was beautifully cooked and our shared starter of tempura prawns was the best I have eaten for a long time. The wine list is reasonably priced with several bottles around the early £20 mark. The service was both friendly and professional and I would certainly be happy to eat here again. It is not a 'destination ' restaurant and is too clean and minimal to be a romantic destination but if you are staying in the area on business and don 't fancy the walk taxi into the quayside/ centre this restaurant is one to keep in mind.
I normally try not to use the restaurant in the hotel in which I 'm staying, but sometimes work dictates otherwise. This was the case here too, as I have eaten in Novotel 's Elements restaurants before, and not been terrifically impressed. The soup was lukewarm and I had to ask for bread, which was a bit ropey when it was produced. The signature burger dish was ok, but a bit 'sloppy ' so the bun rather disintegrated. Service was fine, and the beer was very well priced.
