The Brunel Wine - Bristol, City of

I recently visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and was very impressed. The food was delicious with ample portions, all for a reasonable price of less than £20. I highly recommend this place as there is always a vegetarian option available. My friends and I make it a point to visit every Sunday and frequently stop by the bar, which has a wide selection of drinks and a friendly atmosphere. Don't hesitate to give this restaurant a try - you won't regret it!

We popped in for the Sunday roast and it blew our minds. Beef with horseradish and lots of veges...we couldn't resist getting the treacle cake dessert either. 10/10 brilliance...we highly recommend.

We stopped by for a quick drink over the weekend and were extremely impressed. The staff were friendly and the beer selection was well maintained. Clifton can often feel lacking in good pubs, especially in the current circumstances, but this place comes highly recommended.

Sunday lunchtime'ish, it's horseing it down with rain so popped in with the Mutt's to see if we could get a Sunday roast until the monsoon went over. Bingo, table for 2, a pint of ale 2 delicious dinners for the Good Lady I. To be honest, I did'nt expect anything else, been here a number of times it really is first class. Yep, there is nothing more to say but will be back, highly recommended.

I went here for Sunday lunch last weekend and I have to say, one of the best roast dinners I have had for a long time. The meat options were chicken, beef or lamb, plus there were also vegan and vegetarian options available. I went for the lamb- it was superbly cooked and it sat on top of glazed root vegetables, served with a big Yorkshire pudding and then they put a large board in the middle of our table with greens, cauli cheese and swede mash. Exceptional! There were 4 of us- a couple of us had beers and a couple of us had soft drinks and the bill came in at £50, very reasonable considering how good the food was, I just can't do it justice. The staff were very friendly and the chef came out to check that we were enjoying the fruits of his labor and we certainly were! It's not a huge place inside so I suspect that you might have to book or get there early as we are coming into winter but will certainly be back again next time I'm down in Bristol.
