Usually, I like this place. But today, I had a bad experience with them. They tried to charge me $1 extra to add jelly to my bagel. I tried to tell them that I never get charged extra for adding jelly, and that the jelly cups they give are extremely small and not worth more than 5 or 10 cents each. I was told that because it was something additional there 's a $1 charge , which is ridiculous to me. I did not get the jelly. After ordering thr bagel, I had to wait around 15 minutes for them to make it. I understand that it was very busy because they were experiencing a rush hour. But considering a bagel takes no more than a minute to toast and 30 seconds to spread with cream cheese, I feel like I should have been given some priority. They just tossed the bagel into a paper bag with no paper sheets or napkins. I would understand waiting maybe 5 minutes. 15 minutes is ridiculous. After waiting all of that time, I asked if I could please have a little jelly cup. I spent so long waiting and all I wanted was some jelly with my bagel. The cashier smiled at me and said that it would be $1 extra. I was frustrated, but I remained respectful and wished her a nice day. I will not be returning to their business again after this. And yes, I understand that I would have gotten at least three or four of those jelly cups. I still don 't think it 's enough to charge $1. I 'd say anywhere between $0.25 and $0.50, for what it 's worth. For a dollar more, I can buy an entire bottle of jelly, which is significantly more than the sum of the small cups you offer. But I didn 't want a bottle of jelly, just a little 10 cent plastic container with less than a teaspoon on jelly in it.
Very nice place and delicious food, you can feel the sense of Turkey here
I was truly so happy to have found Ant Bookstore and Cafe. I was meeting a friend there and had no idea that this gem even existed! Granted that I had just a cup of coffee but I promised myself that I’ll go back for a lunch with friends. I ended up buying a couple pieces of some art work by local artists! Told all my friends and will be going there soon. Highly recommend.
They only get 3 stars for the desserts and drinks. The meats seem they are out of a can. The workers never smile and make you wait to order. They really need to improve the food.
