One of my favorite place in NYC. I went last week during a trip (I'm from Paris), and when I arrived at the cashier to pay, I've realized that a bottle of chocolate beverage have opened in my bag, trashing everything in it: phone, notebook, makeup bag… The lady at the cashier — I guess the owner — helped me cleaning the bag and everything in it, like a mum would have done, while the restaurant was packed. This place screams authenticity and there really isn't a better word for it. You are shoulder to shoulder with all the locals who know about this gem and it's always so crowded for good reason. The wait stuff is incredibly friendly and QUICK. The prices are almost too good to be true, and the portions are more than filling. Everything tastes fresh and I highly recommend the juices.

Amazing food for an amazing price. Delicious and big plates. Very friendly staff.
