Empanadas Rd Southern Blvd

We had one pizza empanada which was our favorite. The chicken and cheese empanada was ok, I’m not a fan of when the chicken is put on a blender/processor to make the chicken. The beef was ok as well. We also had the Cuban which was nothing to brag about. overall would I go out my way to come here, probably not.

Honestly, it's not a real Dominican food. The place was clean, not that organized. The person at the counter didn't have a nice attitude. The food is far from tasting like Dominican food. I ordered some food and I think that I was better off buying an oil gallons.

The empanadas are delicious here and the sauce they pair them up with is beyond amazing. But when I visit to make a purchase there is an older woman on Tuesdays she is there I go after 3 pm normally. She is very accommodating and polite with persons of her own ethnicity. I’m PR , and I feel insulted by her mannerisms with servicing me . My son has witnessed her behavior as well . She does not greet me , she is silent she does not speak . She stares at me when I approach the counter does nt ask what I want and is no help when I try to pronounce the Latin titles for the food items on the menu. If I’m struggling she stares and does not show me or tell me what is in the empanadas or which one she has she points at the menu. Not everyone is from the same demographics . She charges me for the extra packet of sauces but when the younger female works and I ask she gives me extra sauce with no charge . And she is more polite and accommodating. This woman seems to purposely make me wait long for orders , she added an extra dollar after ringing everything up did not answer when I asked her why the extra charge when the order fee was already summed up with tax included . She first say Ty and has a stoic look on her face when dealing with me. She always takes customers that came in after me ahead of me . She is very rude . The food is good I do not want to stop going but I may consider . I do not feel welcomed there when she is serving .

Juices are fresh and good portion. My fave its Chiken croquetas and kipes! The best.

Wide variety of empanadas! Won't be disappointed. So happy they are back!
