I ended up going for a slice with what looked like a little pesto drizzle on it. Typically pesto is made with pine nuts and I have a very severe tree nut allergy. I asked the kid working if there were any nuts in it. He said no, but didn’t seem to be 100% confident. I decided to ask another worker just to double check. I asked a worker who was a bit older with grey hair and looked like he could be a manager, thinking that he might be more confident. His response was so unbelievably rude “ugh if I have to answer that question again.” I was shocked at this response. If an employee can’t handle questions regarding very severe food allergies of their patrons, they shouldn’t be working there. Won’t be going back to zazzy’s.
Just not good pizza. Huge let down. Kid working was very nice. Not his fault.
Great spot with lots of pizza options (GF vegan) along with square and traditional slices. Stopped in for a quick Pepperoni ? slice before my train.Staff was welcoming. Slice was a delicious, tasty with a nice browning/ fluffy crust, and vibe was cool.I especially liked the little nook with the windows where you can see the Freedom Tower down the street. We definitely eat here again and try more options when I have more time.
Kid-friendliness: This is my 9-year old son’s favorite pizza and pizza place in nyc!
A nice quaint pizza spot in the beautiful neighborhood of Chelsea in Manhattan. The pizzas are really good, decently priced. If you are lucky you would get the pretty window tables with the lovely view of the intersection. We tried the pepperoni and all vegetables. The pepperoni was perfectly crispy however the vegetable one was a tad bit salty.Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegetarian and vegan options
