I sat at a small corner table and when I went to put my bag on the floor my elbow got caught up in a whole nest of cobwebs that ran floor to ceiling. Moved to a different table and when I looked at the carpet it was glistening with slug slime! Yes you read that right!! Trails and trails of slug slime all over the carpet. I went to put my bag on the chair next to me. The chairs are covered with faded pink felt like fabric that would have been all the rage in the 70s but it was thick with long hairs all trapped in the fabric. The window sills were covered with dead flies. The bar man am I allowed to say man in these politically correct times?? The bar person server was however very friendly, welcoming and polite. Very depressing place, definitely needs a clean and makeover.
This was our second meal here, food was excellent and well presented as before. Staff always friendly and obliging. Sat in the garden over looking the river, so idilic, not a sound from the busy Fakenham Rd. Will no doubt return again before the summer ends.
Wow stopped off at The Bridge served by a very friendly young lady Gemma/Jemma we? Chose Scampi Chips a.nd I had Ham,Egg Chips
My food this evening was not up to standard, bacon was as thick as gammon and not even cooked. chicken was rubbery. I made the waiter aware and all he could say was ok and walked away. will not be returning for food.
We visited the Bridge Inn having heard good things but were bitterly disappointed. Very limited menu, understandable during these times, portion sizes were good but the food was microwaved and tasteless. Sadly we won’t be going back.
