Dean Street - Brooklyn

I recently celebrated my birthday with a group of 17 at Dean Street for brunch, and it was fantastic. Our server was excellent and most of the food was delicious. I was impressed by the small kitchen staff efficiently handling a busy restaurant. Our server deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. I ordered the short rib hash, which was amazing. My friends enjoyed the crawfish omelette and the cheddar avocado dishes. Some guests mentioned that the French Toast was perfect, but wished there were more slices. The shrimp and grits were just okay, but the French fries and brussel sprouts were delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience, except for the unpleasant encounter we had with another server as we were leaving. Her rude attitude put a damper on an otherwise wonderful meal.

We had brunch, six of us including two kids. Food was decent, drinks were decent, service was decent...no complaints. Nothing amazing stands out in my mind, but nothing would keep us from returning again. Go and enjoy!!

The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of distinct brunch choices. I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

I visited this restaurant with a big group for brunch. They were very accommodating and were able to easily seat us at a large table. The brunch was fantastic.

Wonderful specials, gourmet dining and reasonable prices. Oh and the portion sizes make this place a wonderful choice for a friend's night out.
