My parents and I made a trip to Canada for Thanksgiving, and stopped at Chez Nathalie for our first meal. It was wonderful good beer, piping hot wholewheat bread, and delicious soup. The value was good, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Best of all, our server was a complete joy. I think her name was Catherine, though I may be misremembering. She was a ton of fun, and humored us in our efforts to practice French. The dessert that came with our meals was also wonderful I would love to pay another visit to Chez Nathalie. If my family lived in the area, we would be regulars.
Served me steak and the meat was off, bad weird taste...no manager or waitress came and offered an apology.. Just sent me another ... I would rather an apology than another steak ... No joke I'm. not sure what condition i would find the kitchen.. Oh and please hire a guy who can do medium rare properly. Been here a few times because family likes dancing but each time i find myself yawning at table.
My friends and I went out on Saturday night to a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The music was good and we even danced. The DJ knew how to keep people on the dance floor and engaged. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Surf and turf filet mignon with 2 shrimp, which was excellent. The menu also included salad/soup, dessert, and coffee. Our friends had the Langoustine, which they said was very good, and the Agneau, which they found to be excellent. We arrived at 8pm and the service was quick, although our friends who arrived at 6:30 had to wait until 8pm to get their food. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening spent with friends.
The restaurant is spacious, but the manager, with curly hair, was not very friendly. She only became polite when she recognized someone in my family who is a frequent customer. The prices range from $30 to $40, which I found to be a bit overpriced. However, I did enjoy a delicious filet mignon that justified the cost. The rest of my family's meals were average. The wine list was great. The restaurant was a bit noisy, as we had to raise our voices to talk due to the live singer performing oldies all night and a mini dance floor for guests. The singer takes requests if he knows the song. I would suggest this restaurant to those over 40, but recommend they hire more staff and lower their prices.
