I would definately no shop online for home delivery ever again. Disaster last time. Groceries were delivered on time at 10 30pm. 4 items out if date by the follow day. item which was frozen haddock fishcakes out of date by 2 months. Most of food use by within 4 days. Rang customer services to complain was offered a refund of £10 I complained told I would get £15. Not offered to deliver replace out of date food. When I checked later I found an e voucher attached to my account. I rang customer services and to say I didn't want an e voucher I wanted a refund as I had no intentions of shopping online from this particular store again. I was informed by the not so polite lady on the other end of the phone it was my fault for excepting the voucher. She eventually told me I could have a refund. Was then put on hold for a good 10 mins to be told by the refund department that I could only have £7.50 refund. I was also told by the not so polite lady in customer service that I could speak to the store manager and she gave me a telephone number to which no one answers and still hasn't answered to this day. This was all 6 days ago now. Absolutely disgusting service. I still have the store receipt and out of date food. Going to escalate this. Oh yes and to top it all she deleted the evoucher
I always receive everything I need at this restaurant, as the staff is always ready to help.
Rant time, apologies however I am fuming ????. I pride myself in being a friendly, polite, caring and good natured person however I have never been so disappointed by the rudeness of the customer service received today Kimberley 's Sainsburys. Believe me when I say, I totally understand how stressful the world is at the moment (especially in my line of work of nursing) however these fears should not be brought into work and professionalism should carry on as there are a lot of people out of work at the moment who would love a job. I went with my husband to pick up a very large package (TV) however I was informed due to social distancing that only 1 person was allowed in to the shop at one time. Obviously these are the rules of Sainsburys however I walked onto Aisle 3 to also pick up some shopping to see 3 members of staff all grouped together having a little chat and laugh! Obviously rules of Sainsburys don 't apply on Aisle 3 with no social distancing happening. I went to collect the TV from Argos and I was ordered to stand there with no hello, no smile, no please and no thankyou. Another customer who had heard the staff member speak to me like a dog was absolutely in shock of this and lucky enough the Manager of Argos walked by asking what was wrong to which the customer explained the situation. Manager apologised to me and said she would have a word with member of staff. And to top this off I went to pay for some shopping goods with the till assistant not even communicating with me to advise how much the shopping was as I was keeping my eye on the TV in the trolley! I asked how much it was for her to retort the price is on the screen. Well thank god I dont have a sight impairment because that would have been awkward. Please remember not all disabilities are visible. Unfortunately Sainsburys the minimal staff today have let down your brand name and values of delivering excellent customer service. Very disappointing and a good job I didnt behave unprofessionally after a stressful week at work.
Absolutely disgusted at the way we are treated at Sainsbury’s during this pandemic!! The staff are unbelievably RUDE the store security making up rules as they go along! Talking to you like a piece of ****! It’s a shame this is the only shop local for the elderly otherwise I’m sure ALL would go elsewhere!!! Sainsbury’s you have lost our custom
