Feedback gevenWe stayed here two nights in late July 2017. The food was good, but be warned you have to explore a bit, because on our first night we completely missed about half of it that we thought was the food preparation area!Food quality was very nice, no issues. It's as good as any Chinese food I've had, and I've had the real thing, so don't understand what some of the negative reviews are complaining about. It does however seem to be more "fusion" in places, for example I'm pretty sure Sushi isn't authentic Chinese cuisine! But why not, the place is called "Phantasialand" after all... For those of us with fussy kids there is a kids buffet that serves chips and sausages (I wish all Asian restaurants had this). It's nearly a bit too kids friendly in that the desert selection includes assorted candy right next to the main meals, so be wary of letting little ones loose in there without supervision. For both kids and adults, they also have a chocolate fountain for dessert, which is very cool. The only big con I have is that the service was consistently poor. Specifically I asked for a second drink on both evenings, which they forgot about both times and I needed to remind them about it more than once to actually get my drink (leading to the annoying situation of being presented with a full glass of beer while starting my desert course and therefore about to finish my meal!). On the second evening they even forgot the drink my daughter ordered when we say down, even though they served me mine (when it eventually turned up after I'd complained, they did in fairness give us a free additional drink because it was so late). Seeing as this sort of thing happened on both evenings it's either a conspiracy against me or the restaurant has a systematic issue with their service. We did though have a great two evenings here, so if you can live with the risk of bad drinks service, this is a really good buffet to take the family to!
Used this place whilst staying at Ling Bao. Extensive breakfast buffet with something for everyone. Kinder buffet was a nice touch.
During our business workshop in the hotel we had lunch & breakfast in the Bamboo. Super service and delicious food. Breakfast buffet was all around you need in the morning. Atmosphere was very nice since the Phantasialand itself was closed and so booking rate of the hotel = traffic in restaurant was low. All thumbs up
The restaurant is nice but a little cramped - we were banging chairs with the people around us. The food is nice - Make sure if you have children - direct them towards the Kinderbuffet (& away from the sweet table) so that they will eat something they like. You have to look around for the food - On our second visit - we found the soup and starter buffet. There is always a queue for the stir-fry section and the main course buffet the food was alright - nothing special. The dessert buffet makes up for it - the desserts were delicious. Its very pricey and the children do not get value for money. & a bottle of water costs €6.50 so for a family of 5 that's 2-3 bottles of water with dinner.
Is a Chinese restaurant - the Food is ok but nothing Special - Prices are a bit high - Atmosphere was Nice as theire where some authentic Chinese Details around
