1000 de chipuri - Bucharest

Past this sweet spot and thought it looked like a great place to stop for a cheeky drink. Was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite glass of wine throughout my journey! It is called FN14 Sforile/Fintesti. Try it you will not dissapointed :

I tried to reach this wine bar few times and it was always closed. Last time was Sunday, 1st of October, I called for reservation between 10 am and 1 pm (during their official program) a lot of times but nobody answers. Finally, somebody answered but told me that at 6:30 pm the bar will be closed. They suggested me to visit their bar in another part of Bucharest. All in all, unreliable.

I was on a wine tasting at 1000 de Chapuri at the Caro Hotel (Str. Barbu Vacarescu, Nr. 164A, Sector 2, Bucuresti), This has wines from more than 20 countries in a very cozy lounge and also a terrace. The Sommelier Nistor Vasile and the waiter Onisim were both very helpful and passionate about wines, to more than 10 guests. The prepared food included a selection of cheese, the perfect balance for the wines we had. Our sommelier began with Tămâioasă Românească, through a selection of white, rose and red wines. My favorites were the Fetească Neagră, I come back home with a bottle of this romantic wine and will recommend it to my friends and family. The staff at the hotel also made our stay there very comfortable. Apart from Onisim and Mariana, who work in the wine bar, I would like to thank Bianca for the hospitality, the Dani cook, Mihai and his waiter team at Hotel Caro: Petre, Marius, Alin, Valentin, Tiberiu and Maria. Thanks also to Ovidiu, Lorena, Amalia, Andrada, Bogdan, Petru, Andru, Raluca, Ligia and Alexandra from the reception. all who helped create a pleasant time in Romania. For those looking for a great hotel with a cozy wine bar, Caro Hotel and the 1000 de Chapuri is an excellent choice.
