Qrious Palate - Buena Park

If you're craving chicken and waffles, you need to check out Qrious Palate in The Source Mall. The chicken is hot, crispy, and wonderfully moist and juicy, while the waffles are both crispy and soft. You can get four pieces of chicken along with two waffles for just $8.95—it's a much better deal than the chicken at Popeyes next door. I tried both on December 30, 2017, and Qrious Palate's chicken and waffles definitely outshine Popeyes in terms of both flavor and value. The staff at the counter were polite and respectful as well. Don't miss out on this place!

I initially thought this restaurant only served waffles, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they also offer rice dishes. We tried the chicken bowl, the Bulgogi plate, and the Qrious plate, which features both chicken and Bulgogi. Everything was delicious—not overly salty and not greasy. Their regular bowls come with a generous portion of meat, along with broccoli, onions, and carrots mixed in, which is a nice change from other places that charge extra for veggies. When you order a plate, which is just one dollar more than the bowl, you can choose two sides, including Mac Salad, Potato Salad, Kimchi, Fruit, Jalapenos, and a few others. I’ll definitely be back for lunch!

I can't comment much on her bowls since I didn't try them, but her fries are amazing! They could easily succeed as a standalone fry shop.

I was just at the Qrious Palate in the food court at the source. Your teriyaki plate immediately satisfied, so good!!
