Midland Stop got Rave reviews from all Lavendel Latte, the drip coffee and the homemade blueberry muffin were exceptional. And the owner, Jan was super nice and helpful (always a plus makes some of the baked goods!
Breakfast burritos were large yet needed salsa to make flavorful. Hot chocolate was so-so. A single banana here cost $1.75! Otherwise, a clean place with friendly staff.
Great gelato stop! We had pizza at Eddyline then walked across the street for some gelato. There aren't many choices but what was there was homemade and delicious. Lots of dessert coffees too. Pretty spot right on the corner by the park and the river.
If you find yourself driving through Buena Vista, make sure to stop here. The coffee is outstanding (more chocolaty-earthy than fruity, which I prefer and this area of town is super quaint and perfect for a quick walk on the sidewalk or the paved river trail to stretch your legs before hopping back in the car. I know there are coffee spots closer to the highway, but Midland is well worth the detour. Be aware, google maps might want you to take a short (200-foot? dirt road to get to the shop rather than take you around. It’s not a big deal, but something to note when naving here.
Great place! The Gelato was awesome, and the expresso smelled wonderful! I got the cold brew coffee and it was really good. Go say hi to the shop dog Cody, he 's the best! Friendly staff/owners. Will definitely stop there again!
