Montfort Mediterranean Grill Appleby

Have been going to Monforts for years and always loved it, haven't been in a few years and was very disappointed with the food we got. We ordered shawarma chicken over rice, we got it less than a minute after we ordered, it tasted liked it was reheated, the chicken didn't taste nearly as good as it use too and the onion (chutney I think) tasted awful, garlic sauce was the only tasty part of the dinner . 2 Shawarma chicken over rice and 2 Pepsi cost $54 before tip, we ate about a quarter of it and we're so disappointed with the taste, the restaurant was also really cold. I ordered a chicken shawarma but the lady gave me something else it was not chicken she was on the phone the whole time probably why she got it wrong and then tried to gaslight me when I confronted her was also very rude Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food is alright, I think. However, they charged a whopping $22 for a vegetarian falafel plate which had three falafels, a bit of rice, hummus, lettuce and an eggplant side dish. I felt it was over the board. An equivalent dish with meat (chicken/beef) may make sense for a $22 price tag, but surely not falafels.

I walked in and was greeted so politely and promptly. After the nice man gave me a table he asked me if I knew what I was having. By the time I finished my sentence the food was infront of me.
