Waffle House - Buford

Waffle House is in a league of their own. Consistently good ‘comfort food’ cooked with enough grease to make it taste like my grandma did. And true to their namesake, they make some mighty fine waffles. If you have correctly set your expectations, Waffle House can be an enjoyable meal.

I love those authentic American restaurants that we don't have in France.

The cook looked like my uncle Darnell locked up in prison. I knew the food was gonna be good!

My dad is well-known at this Waffle House as the regular customer. The staff recognizes him as soon as he arrives, and his usual order is already being prepared. It's a nostalgic experience reminiscent of small-town America where everyone knows each other. It's a delightful experience to accompany him occasionally.
