Hondo & Shorty's Burger Place - Bullard

Unique name Unique burgers?. I had an employee who told me about this place. The name alone had interested me and asked me how this place was. A few times I looked at a matinee movie and then drove out for dinner. It's been a while, but I remember it's pretty good. Free beans while you wait until your food comes. You can have chains for days, but local places like these have character that cannot be replicated. *Update* Again here on 10/8/13. The place is still quite cool, and I am surprised that there are no more reviews. I thought the Hamburgerpatty was earlier thicker and fell some by hand, but this night it seemed like a thinner pre-shaped patty. Still pretty good.

Take it or leave it it's not bad but in no way is it special.it's usually quiet & empty & I'm fine with that..

This is easily my favorite place to eat at in Bullard. Great tasting food, friendly and timely service, and a great atmosphere over all.

It's not what it used to be but it's a decent meal at a decent price. Certainly worth the occasional stop.
