Beach Bar Burgau - Vila Do Bispo

So apparently today is 'Blue Monday ' aka the most depressing day of the year in the UK. So as I sat staring at my laptop thinking about all the negative things I possible could to fit into this dismal day, I had a brain wave, let 's think about my favourite place on the planet. Alas, here I am. I 've been visiting Burgau since I was 2 years old and have been every year since then (twice on most occasions), and despite loving everything about the place the Beach Bar is just something else. You 'll see from the pictures that it 's set in a beautiful place, in a beautiful little village on the coast of the Algarve and, as you could guess, right on the beach. The bar itself serves several purposes; during the day it houses beach goers looking for a nice lunch, and ice cream or evening a midday jug of sangria, and by night it 's a beautifully decorated restaurant serving some of the freshest seafood in Portugal! My personal favourite here is the Swordfish steak, served with fresh salad and your choice of potatoes, I enjoy it that much I refuse to have Swordfish anywhere else! The king prawns are another big hit here, as is the Piri piri Chicken! Family owned and operated (by an English/Portuguese family) for it 's entirety, the Beach Bar seemingly has the wooing effect on anyone that passes by. Friends families and complete strangest are all caught up in the nostalgia of this place and you 're often rubbing shoulders with some celebs that have houses nearby Ian Rush Michael Owen to name a couple! It 's a big ask to tell someone to book an entire holiday based on one place, however I wholeheartedly believe you 'd fall in love with this place (and I don 't even know who 'you ' are). Well, this cured my Blue Monday.. Blues..

It is a very beautiful location and eating is in order, but not good quality. I got sick after I had eaten the fish soup.

La comida espectacular, especialmente el pollo picante. el pulpo a la brasa también era muy bueno, el plato es bastante grande. nota la calidad. los platos vienen con una porción generosa de patatas y ensalada. para mejorar, el plato de pollo con otra pieza. el servicio al principio nos dijo que teníamos que esperar media hora y después de esperar un lado dejaron entrar a otras personas que no tenían reserva. No ha sido un buen trato, no es un trato. vistas a la playa. precio con bebida para la gente:

Excellent service and food in a great location! We both had the piri piri chicken and we were impressed!

Sanduíches incríveis, Café e coisas muito amigáveis. Absolut deve ir!!
