The subs are really good. The bread is soft baked. We got the steak and cheese, grilled chicken, and the Mediterranean with falafel in it. The highlight for me was the cinnamon bun though. It was one of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had store bought. Soft baked, nothing crispy or dry, generous amount of frosting. Could use more cinnamon sugar mix, but still, the best.
I was here waiting in line to pick up my food. The man in front of me was Spanish speaking only, and the worker at the register screamed at him and made a huge spectacle, causing the entire restaurant to stare. I understand food service is difficult, but my heart broke for the man who was being screamed at in a language he did not understand. I don’t think there is ever a good reason to yell at people, especially in public, and especially when the person is clearly not understanding you.Edit: the reason he got screamed at was because the worker was asking him to “verify or display the order” on his phone and he didn’t understand, so the customer asked for clarification, causing the worker to storm off.
Disclaimer: This review is solely based on their fries but because they were this good, I think you all deserve to know. If you're ever in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend trying their port fries. They're very simple crinkle cut fries with old bay seasoning and a side of sriracha aioli but don't associate simple with bland. They're light, they're crispy, they're soft on the inside, they're flavorful, and the dip makes them even better. It's not spicy, mostly creamy. Also, keep in mind that I actually ordered these for take out so I could only imagine what they take like fresh.
Not feeling it. Meatball sub was meh. The meatballs were burnt. One of them looked like a black and white cookie on the inside...that burned but only on one half. It was weird. Sauce is ok, bread is ok, but probably a one-and-done. Maybe I'll try the chicken parm. I dunno. It was so disappointing the first time around so I dunno...
