La Cocina Mexican - Burlington

Wow! this is the best Mexican restaurant I've found since the retreat here from Texas. most of the places I found all tasty when they shared the same ho hum cookbook. not la cocina. Obviously these people are very proud to prepare excellent food for their customers. it is absolutely worth the journey from durham to mebane to treat yourself to a really good meal.

The fish tacos were good, and the service was very good. It's not my favorite Mexican restaurant as far as dish selections go, but it isn't bad.

Good food. Good service. Has gotten very expensive. Drinks watered down literally with ice. I will return but probably once every 3 months.

Are here on Memorial Day with friends. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. My wife and I have eaten at this particular location a number of times and each time we have dined here we've had a good experience. I had the taco salad with ground beef and the meat was flavorful and everything that came with it was good. The salsa wasn't too spicy which was great for me. My wife had the taquitos which she greatly enjoyed as well. Overall this is a good little restaurant of want some good Mexican food at a good price.
