I was pleased that the plates were served hot. However, the service was a bit inconsistent. Although the waitresses were delightful, there were not enough of them to efficiently handle all the tasks, resulting in slow and inconsistent service.
My family and I decided to dine at Tuckaways during UVM graduation weekend as we had not made a reservation and they had availability. The restaurant, located inside the hotel, has a pleasant ambiance. The food was decent but not exceptional, especially when compared to the high standards in Burlington, VT. The standout dish for us was the fish and chips.
We recently had a fantastic night that started with dinner but ended closing the bar Ray is friendly and accommodating
Food was very good Ray the bartender was awesome Waitstaff very friendly
The food at this hotel pub was excellent, but the service was lacking. Despite not being very busy, our server seemed overwhelmed and forgot about us for a while. There was no one to greet and seat us at the door, so we had to do it ourselves after being directed by the bartender. When the server finally came over, they struggled to check us in for our Open Table reservation and had to get assistance. Additionally, once our food arrived, they did not come back to refill our drinks or check on us until we had to flag them down for the bill. To make matters worse, our bill was initially incorrect, charging us for another table's order, requiring us to have the bartender correct it for us.
