Now, onto the main attraction: the udon! The noodles were thick and chewier than what you typically find at most places.

The sekai udon bar is located in the metrotown mall burnaby. it offers traditional Japanese cuisine here. because of the location, it becomes one of the most bustling Japanese restaurant in the local mainland. there are more than 100 seats together with an open sushi bar and an open Udon preparation area. the restaurant was busy, but we could still find the table easily. we need to get to the restaurant quickly. after we set ourselves, the server brought us a teapot and menus. there are three different types of menu, special food, lunch special and regular menu. After we have discussed them, we choose to order the lunch combination, because it is super cheap, only $9.50.<br/ <br/ the lunch combination has 4 items, noodles, rice, soup/salad and special cooking bowl. that is a lot of food for a person. also, it is a great thing. both my friend and I ordered niku sliced bark original soup and salat. also I had sake don – lachs sashimi my friend ordered curry croquette don – kokosnuss curry cremig croquette. In addition, we have $6.75 japoutine tempura scattered fryed, with cheese and gravy to share. they were all fresh and tasty. my favorite dish is japoutine. it was Japanese style poutine =tempura-battered kartoffeln (or sweet potatoes) poutine-ish ingredients (cheese and gravur) seatangen. the soak of the japoutine was very delicious. niku udon was beautiful, it was traditional Udon shell with sukiyaki bark and sorted vegetables and mushrooms. but I prefer to cook and chew the suppe. not too soft.
