In our opinion, it’s better than the Shanghai Dimsum House nearby which is also pretty good. Their tofu soup is also light and nice with boiled dumpling water flavour in a good way. It’s not too salty and hydrating with no hint of MSG. Service: Dine in
The XLBs here are the closest in terms of flavour of the broth and the skin to meat ratio compared to XLBs in Shanghai. The ones from the Shanghai Dimsum House (long line) are bigger but the soup inside is missing that hint of sweetness and there's too much skin. The sheng jian bao here is not bad but has a different style than the ones in Shanghai. It's more doughy and not as much soup. Still decent though Service: Dine in
The Bun and dumpling is super juicy On top of the bun is crispy It’s palatable but the environment is not as good as eating in restaurent But the price is reasonable as it is located in Crystal Mall Food Court Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
No atmosphere because it’s a food court. Great food as always. The next best thing to flying back to Asia for delicious food. Price is reasonable with such high inflation. Takes around 10 minutes for soup dumplings. Highly recommend Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
The pan-fried buns are very delicious. It’s great to take it home and reheat it if you can’t finish it all in one sitting. Fried dumplings are more delicious Service: Take out Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: 招牌生煎包
