They're like the A+ student who does extra credit just because. And I'm absolutely loving it. Take a quick look at their website and you'll see what I mean! At the start of each week they post the special menu for the week including family dinner and individual plate specials for each day. Great for planning and reasonably priced! Here's a breakdown of their offerings during covid: Daily family dinner specials (examples include meatloaf, family fried chicken, pork bbq ribs Individual daily lunch and dinner specials Soup by the quart Saturday and Sunday breakfast specials including Eggs Benedict (particularly hard to find these days! Weekend Quarantine Grill Kits (includes a roll of toilet paper! Weekly homemade ice cream flavors! For those with a favorite on their regular menu (personally I love their twisted turkey sandwich don't worry it's still available. It may be slightly condensed but for the most part the usuals are still there. As for pick up I haven't had any issues as it's been quiet when I've been there. In addition to their sizable back lot they have three spots dedicated to curbside pickup right where you pull in. They're seriously going above and beyond during all of this. I wish I could give them some sort of award. Check them out and show your support if you live nearby!
So this update is being written in the middle of the COVID-19 quarantine. The community component of this restaurant has become abundantly clear during this challenging time. People are stuck at home and incapable of pulling together meals and other necessary parts of their lives. Seibel's Restaurant is preparing full meals for families and including food and supplies for later (including some coveted toilet paper). They'll deliver it for free or they can bring it to your car if you drive there. And the neighborhood is relying on them to provide this service too. They sell out of every daily special that they have. If you want to get in on the special, you have to order the day before. I guess I'm ultimately writing this updated review to let Seibel's know that we appreciate them and that we can't wait to frequent the restaurant again very soon.
Just arrived for breakfast with a group. Table full but I have to wait until more arrive 6 specifically before we are I can be seated. Here is the crowded area. Are waitress is not helpful. Not returning. Because of this antiquated policy I have chosen not to order any food. Interesting enough we are a group of African American men. Our chapter President has chosen not to complain but enjoy each other and not return. They can't seat unless there are 6 waiting but you can bring a dog into the restaurant.
It seems like it has been a decade and a half since I was here last. I came by on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised in the quality of food and service. I was just ordering breakfast but everything was absolutely great. The pancakes, grits, eggs, bacon, and mixed fruit was very good. I will definitely have to go back for Happy Hour. Bon Apetit.
This was just ok. The service was great, but the food wasn't anything special. We went for lunch and my friend and I both got Cobb salad. We also shared crab deviled eggs. The crab deviled eggs didn't smell great, but tasted ok. They smelled a bit fishy.
