We had a party of 6 including two kids. Prime rib was very good, and so were the fish dishes: rockfish special, the shrimp/scallops/crab cake entree for sure. Then, the dessert menu. Coconut cream pie was excellent. They were out of the key lime. The peanut butter/chocolate pie was also exceptional. I believe all these are homemade. You definitely want to get here. Not fancy, and not terribly large, but make it a stop.
Huge and tasty fish sandwich. Okay atmosphere. Quick and friendly service in spite of how busy they were. Apparently they're working on getting their liquor license. Very reasonably priced.
New owners are doing a great job. The food was very good. Came out hot and fresh. Hush puppies are smaller than before but aren't lacking one bit in their flavor. I'd give it a 5 but the service was very slow. They only had three servers and they were working so hard but just couldn't keep up. Our server was extremely polite and hard-working. This has always been one of our staples when we come for vacation, and it will continue to be one. Delicious!
Server was very friendly and accommodating. They brought us hush puppies while we waited for food. They were good, so we didn't mind waiting. I just got a salad...and it was tasty. Saved room for the handmade banana pudding. The pudding wasn't as great as I had hoped or heard about. The wafers very hard and tasted generic. The bananas were black. I always put a little orange juice on mine so they don't darken. I guess I've had some so amazing in the past that this one couldn't match up. It was easy to find, easy to park, and no wait.
Not much of a seafood lover except lobster Since we are on an island, why not try a local fresh fish...catch of the day Spanish mackerel cooked with Cajun spices. Still tastes like fish. Did I mention I'm not big on fish. They didn't have lobster and you cannot eat steak at a fish house. If you like fish, you will like this place. A little pricey. Oh, the hush puppies are the best I've had...ever. Since I don't like fish, why would I go here you ask. We came here on a recommendation for the home made nanner pudding. Meh...
