Hungry Jack's - CAIRNS CITY

We waited at least 15 mins for a medium chips, which seemed like a small serve and when we got them they were cold! The staff appeared to be bored and seemed totally unmotivated. Our second serve of chips we got at Mc Donalds in the same food hall. More customers but we received the chips within 2 Minutes from a friendly staff member, who even apologized for the wait.

I stood in line for 20 minutes only to be told that the ice cream machine was not working and they were out of frozen drinks. The service was slow and the waiter was unhelpful, mumbling his words and requiring me to repeatedly ask for clarification. Additionally, each meal was prepared individually, causing further delays.

I recently visited a restaurant in Cairns Central and was not impressed with the service. The young girl who served me seemed overworked and unorganized, possibly due to a late night before. The restaurant itself was untidy and the food was not up to par. I have had a better experience at a Hungry Jacks in Melbourne last year, where the place was clean, well-organized, and the food was hot. In comparison, the burgers in Cairns Central were cold and my thin burger was undercooked. The chips were also disappointing, possibly due to poor quality potatoes. Even the coke was flat. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience and will not be rushing back. The prices were too high for the quality of fast food received. Very disappointed.

The slow service was a joke. The size of the burgers are a joke. The value for money is a joke. $25.00 for 2 very small burgers,very small chips and coke a joke. Wont be back.

At the time we commented on how the food reminded us of how good Hungry Jack's was 20 years ago. Certainly better than we get in Brisbane.
