Australian's Pizza - Calais

In just a few minutes walk from the magnificent holiday inn in calais. look at the moped on the pavement! toppings are very french, but they can also ask for a simple margarita from the menu. they have a choice of solo, double or mega. I think the mega is 41cm in diameter and even defeated my pizza munching teenage son. open daily from 6.30 clock to 10 clock. they can also order dessert if they are still hungry! owners do not speak English, but are super friendly and were very patient with my schoolgirl French/Mime. if you need chips, there is a crisp frit van at the corner of the square and an amazing weineller (besides the laundrette,) who speaks very good English and sells more local ideas to wash their spontaneous Alfresco juice

After a Christmas time in disneyland we were over at night in calais and needed food. the hotel menu has not been happy, so it went to this little take away. the staff was friendly and helpful, our pizza was delicious, the wedges were crispy. what more can they say?...5 out of 5

But they are not Australian! LOL Pizza was some of the best we've had. ate it out on the town square.
