My last omelet was filled. I really like Splenda in coffee and... for some reason, these people don't order it even though several guests ask. Yeah, that's a first world problem, but still a mistake. I'm trying to remember how I traveled.
We had decided a long day of the trip to eat for dinner. Food was good-not soothing imagination, but also nothing disappointment. The prices for sandwiches salads were moderate.
The staff at the restaurant seemed overwhelmed. The Squash Soup, which should have been thick and creamy, was watery and had large swirls of milk or cream on top. The French Onion Soup was greasy, with small pieces of bread that did not seem baked, and the cheese was not melted properly. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.
We really liked the variety of options available at the breakfast buffet. The beef dinner we tried was delicious as well. While not the top spot for fish and chips, the salmon was quite tasty.
After a long day of traveling, we opted to dine at our hotel for convenience. The flatbread I ordered was flavorful, although slightly crunchier than anticipated. My wife's lasagna was loaded with ground beef, but the oregano was a bit overpowering. The turtle cheesecake was delicious, and we also enjoyed their refreshing lemonade. The prices were on par with other mid-range restaurants in the area, and the service was friendly.
