Thai Manna - Calgary

I ordered the Pad Thai Kit $10), Tom Yum Soup $5), Large Green Curry Kit $23) plus Large Green Curry Cubes $50). The pad thai had the right tang to it not at all sweet or ketchupy like some restaurants. Soup was light and fragrant. The green curry was incredible. I've never been to Thailand before but my husband has and he said the flavours were legit. The kits come with fresh herbs and hard to find ingredients, such as galangal, lemongrass, chilies, shrimp paste, tamarind juice, palm sugar, peanuts, and fish sauce. Prices are reasonable it works out to be less than Thai restaurants in Calgary but it tastes to me, much healthier and less sweet/oily. There are discounts if you order $100 or more, plus free delivery. Pro tip cut up the chilies in tiny slivers. I thought it was a red pepper and chomped on it. My mouth was burning for a good hour.

The flavours at Thai Manna are incredible!!! So delicious and we love ordering take-out from them! Seriously some of the tastiest food ever! If you want amazing curry, definitely check out Thai Manna!!!

Came across Thai Manna at the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market, and got a few of the Thai Yellow Curry home kits. They are great and easy to make! I have tried a few variations but have settled on making them with potatoes, onion, hot peppers and pineapple! I buy the 2-3 serving size kit, and once I have added potatoes and served with rice I found it actually makes FOUR decent sized servings.

I LOVE Thai Manna! We recently discovered these amazing kits at Bearspaw Lion Farmers Market in NW They also are at the Millarville Farmers Market. A small is $15, feeds 2 and $24 for 3-4. They provided samples here for various types, green, red, yellow and Penang curry. They are all DELICIOUS! The price is average and I think about how much it is to go out for Thai, portion sizes are a lot smaller, I feel flavours are restaurant quality and I like how I know what is exactly going in the dish. You can substitute for what you like, coconut milk is provided and you can make it a lighter version by adding water. Rice is also provided and is really tasty. They are easy to make and fool proof! Easy directions with all ingredients provided to make, though you add your own vegetables and protein. I 've bought all of them and love, it 's a really good and fast supper. We add tons of vegetables and we have enough for me, my husband and leftovers for lunch. Downside is I wish they were more easily found! You can go to their website to find locations that carry these kits year round, though pricing is slightly better at the seasonal farmers market. They will give you $1 off if you bring back the box and if you buy 3 kits you 'll get a free Tom Yum soup. BTW, I tried and it was also soooo good! Give Thai Manna a try you 'll love!!
