It is a small place, many would probably describe it as a hole in the wall, but it didn't have that feel to me. The chef, Peter, (and I am calling him a chef by the way he listened to and took care of us, plus the confidence he put in the food), was very nice and attentive. Everything was made to order. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Everything on the menu is good!! Even the veggies are to die for. I highly recommend the veggie bowl and the fried fish meal. The servers are also incredibly friendly and kind. This has become one of my new favorite spots. I literally tell everyone about it. You will not be disappointed if you eat here!
I didn't care for the yellow jollof rice. No seasoning on the food. It was waste of lunchbreak. I got the veggie platter. The Mac and cheese and plantain were good.
Open Crumb is great! After reading reviews for months, we stopped by for lunch. We were so excited. The fried chicken was fried fresh, and we also picked up some hot sauce. It stayed crispy through a 20 min drive back home to NE, and everything tasted amazing. Can?t wait to come back.
