Feedback gevenThe server was alone on a Sunday and did an excellent job of trying to satisfy all customers.
We were disappointed with our experience. I ordered chicken wings and specifically requested them with vegetables.
If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. They only have one waitress/bartender working during the day.
So. I don't usually write reviews unless something great or horrible stands out. A few friends and I thought after work 'hey, why don't we go to crabby joes more often? They have half price apps and good food!' We were soon reminded of why. Although the food was good and the prices were right, the service made the entire evening unbearable. As we are all in the industry ourselves, it stood out that much more how little our server cared about the customers or her job. We had just received our food and there were already empty glasses all over our table which she did not care to remove, and we had to ask for simple things like ketchup for a burger because the waitress didn't check on how things were or supply us with what we needed. We had to track her down for simple things like this. It was 11:30 and as per the website and the door said they close at 1am that evening. So at 11:30 we flagged her down and asked for another drink. She then said 'oh no, the bars closed.' And walked away. Thanks for letting us know! I went to the very nice bartender and asked what time they closed tonight and she said 'oh 11:30 tonight' so I explained that we weren't informed of that and if it were at all possible to get a couple more drinks for my friends. She without hesitation said of course and brought us our drinks. Which pissed off our server, so it seemed. We then felt like we had to leave and were in the way because they were now closed..something we had no idea about..the server brought us over a couple take out containers (only about 2 with there being 5 of us...) she then brought us our bills (which were wrong..) instead of half priced apps, she half offed things like the 4$ add chick on a nacho...My friend explained to her what she thought had happened..and she said 'no, it wouldn't be the chicken.' Grabbed the bill and walked away. 5 minutes later returns and slaps the new bill on the table with no explanation or apology. She then comes over and asks if we need debit. We said no we all have cash. Never to be seen again!!!!!!!! What if we needed change?! I'm sure as heck not potentially leaving someone at 25$ tip on a 25$ bill that didn't do her job at all. Me and my friends usually tip great partially because we do the exact same job...but since she didn't come back to see if we needed change, along with everything else..we just left her whatever we had. It covered the bill of course but not much else. Severely disappointed in the service and we all left genuinely mad. We've had positive experiences there in the past so maybe the establishment itself doesn't deserve the 2 star rating but this particular experience deserves less. We all have bad days but don't work in this industry if you can't fulfil the job requirement.
I often visit this restaurant, this time I was very disappointed. I waited 10 minutes to get sat, then another 15 to have a server even come to the table to greet my friend and I, then had my meal come out wrong. meanwhile there was 3 other tables in the dining room. No apology was made, I am very upset.
