Great cocktails, cool air conditioning, interesting backstory and incredible owner/staff. Yes it is shabby. If you want under chic then goto Claridges. This was different. The cocktails were different and original. The space is different and shabby. Would defiantly go back.

This is a fantastic little bar, though it may not be everyone's cup of tea due to its decor and style. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable when it comes to drinks. It was a long-awaited return after being closed for 2 years.

Bizarre atmosphere, indifferent server and hugely disappointing tasteless cocktails. Shabby chic? It is certainly shabby. I would not recommend at all. There are plenty more friendly, interesting cocktail bars in this area. Trying too hard to be different.

We entered this cocktail bar in search of a pre-dinner pick-me-up, but unfortunately, we were left feeling highly disappointed. Despite there being plenty of empty seats, we were made to wait standing in the middle of the bar before being seated. Once seated, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our order to be taken, despite politely asking for service. Even after the bartender intervened and asked the waiter, Rhidian, to take our order, he arrogantly replied that he would get to us when he could. Feeling frustrated, I questioned Rhidian loudly as to why others who arrived after us had already been served. In the end, he decided to finally take our order. We will not be returning to this establishment and will advise our friends in the area to do the same. Additionally, we did not appreciate the 20% charity discount, as we are able to afford a few cocktails in London without it. Thank you, Rhidian.

This is a great little cellar door bar which you could miss off the street if you're not looking for it. The cocktails are great and staff are attentive and really do recommend some gems according to your tastes! Highly recommend. Great for small parties and date night!
