The thirst was semi-quenched with a sleceted combination drink of ginger, apple and lemon served in jam-jars. This just needed to be more ice to really do the trick. However the salads were creative, fresh and delicious. We rounded off with home-made grenadilla ice -cream...oh my... that was a bit of heaven! Friendly, engaging staff and flavourful food meant a second visit was called for...this did not disappoint. Just think of the drinks being served COLD.
Delicious soups and cheese toasty which was real value for money in a nice setting ! I really enjoyed this restaurant and the manager was so sweet
Conveniently situated right underneath my place of work. Bicycle is a small little restaurant, but it's got a pretty neat lunch menu. I had a bacon, mushroom and cheese bun, and it was to die for. I cannot wait to try out the rest of the food over the next couple of months!
Dutchies and their bikes. Gotta love this place. Service wise very strong. Food is magnificent. Try one of their omelets! Or their beef roll.
So, following my previous post detailing the birth of I Love Foodies, it is now time to dive into the world of Cape Town’s culinary offerings. And there’s no better way to do it than with an account of a charming little hipster cafe – The Bicycle Cafe – in the heart of the up-and-coming Woodstock, a suburb that seems to be marked for artistic genius, offering a multitude of design, art, and culinary concepts.
