Lakeview - Canadensis

The food was wonderful, and expanded further and essential by the friendly and very professional staff. Wait staff and bartenders were fantastic.

We reserved a dinner for our 10. Wedding anniversary and enjoyed a beautiful meal. It was nothing special than delicious. My husband had his classic Dewars Scotch with a splash of Club Soda and I had Baileys on ice. We had decided to have a later meal at 7 p.m. so that no great amount of food wanted. I ordered the salmon court and asked the waitress, please prepare the cook, it 'made too crispy' to which she replied after serving it to me, she never knew that she could or should order it so, but the cook understood and verified that it was a proper order. The grilled salmon was very well prepared and was presented with a bed of lenses and embellished spinach and covered with roasted pebbles. I enjoyed every bite. My husband ordered the same dish and left the prep to the cook, his was not grilled as long as and cooked to his hair. For dessert (which in all honesty I thought would have come with some kind of decor to our anniversary or the recognition of the special occasion. When we reserved our table, we were asked if it was a special occasion, but it was not important, we chose the Tiramasu. It was dry and not softened in the typical coffee liquid that traditionally makes the cake complex. The total meal was good and the servers attentive, but not exceptional. The price and value were comparable to the experience. The location would usually be a highlight as the restaurant is located on a lake, but after the dark you have no view except window overlooking a lawn with a fire pit and some Adirondack chairs. It was not romantic and titilling. The location had a front deck with an illuminated fire and chairs to relax on with awnings ready for cover, but it was too cold at the night we visited to sit for very long.

After a very frustrating start, where it lasted over 10 minutes, with only two families before us in line for some reason, the hostess process is terriblely slow we had a decent meal. There is not much of a lake view here it is more of a swamp view! The food was fine and came out pretty fast. The drinks were not good and very expensive.

Good service and good food. We had seafood and it was excellent. Only complaint was that they were out of the first 3 wines we asked for and then poured and charged for the larger pour of wine without asking.

Nice location with a nice view if you have a table by the windows or outside. The food was good, but the portion sizes were decent for me and not many meat options. The desserts are the best! The best part is the service. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and was very attentive and gave us the best experience.
