Banana Blue - Cannes

Probably best eating we had all vacations. all enjoyed our food. good service and delivered us all with plenty of water without asking.

The banana blue cafe, cannes, sits in rue pasteur near the croisette. beautiful location, but we experienced the worst service in any restaurant in cannes, and traveling need to be warned. admittedly we arrived 30 minutes too late for our reservation and if they had sent us away, that would have been perfectly acceptable. but that's not what happened. in a very acidic ton they called us on a table that was not cleaned and let us sit next to the rubbish of the previous party for 30 minutes. when we went into the bar to give our orders for drinks, suddenly a griny server with braid appeared and told our correspondent server in French obviously provided we would not understand that we were too late and have to suffer. then the acidic mood went generic among the employees. the table was not cleaned for another 10 minutes, the service was excrementally slow through, we got a bottle no glasses for the water (hast to drink from the bottle because of the heat overwhelming.) friendship was unknown area, supercilious views frequent, try ti connect aktiw ignored etc. in short, they don't waste valuable vacation time on this wisely treated. eating was good, but nothing more

My husband and I visited this place for a coffee and a quick bite. We sat for about 10mins after the waiter said he was coming. He kept walking up and down past us. I went in to ask if they were serving, he sees...me and walks away. His colleague tried to help saying he didn't speak English...speaking in Arabic he gestured to his colleague to leave it. Utter rudeness! Terrible service. If only happy to serve your kind, put a sign up...0star if one existed. We were welcomed at the posher Brasserie Le Voilier.

We went here as we just wanted something quick near our hotel We weren’t expecting much and all ordered pizza Wow! Great pizzas, lovely staff and nice place. And all for an amazing non-riviera type price! We really enjoyed this- honestly was up there with...some of our meals costing 3 times this! Go, enjoy!

We were on a recent business trip in the area and had an apartment on the road behind the Banana Blue. We used the restaurant everyday, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a choice of hot drinks, fresh orange pastries and baguettes....The lunch and dinner menu is very extensive with some great salads and pasta dishes. A great area outside for seating or inside if you prefer. Thankyou for your hospitality see you again.
