Kathton House - Canterbury

We booked a table to celebrate our 5th anniversary and I must say that the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and cheerful, and they even personalized our table for the occasion. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming, but the highlight was definitely the food. Each course was presented stunningly and with small palate cleansers in between. I ended the meal with an alcoholic coffee served with a side of slipcake and brandy snaps, which was absolutely divine. We savored every bite and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Thank you for making our evening so special! We will definitely be returning soon.

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food and service are always top-notch. I love coming here for a special and delicious meal. I highly recommend trying the filet of bark, it is amazing.

Decided to go the day before and so I booked. the first thing to say is the parking lot is a total nightmare, it is just a question of the drive around until they find a place, near parking is just an hour. quirky small restaurant with a beautiful varied lunch menu and gentle tasteful decor. starter was a delicious smoked salmon, avocado and artichoke with crumbs and a lemon dressing. the main was an absolutely delicious roasted beef in ingwer with spring onions and beautifully cooked and presented sweet. dessert was a dark chocolate and cherry moist cake with camouflaged cream, which was beautiful but not sensational. the waiting staff was very helpful at any time. the presentation is excellent and the aromes are refined. toilet clean and well presented. easy drive next to my place otherwise really worth the 120 miles round trip

A very pleasant evening celebrating our daughter's 21st. Cheerful, helpful and capable staff, delicious food and all food was freshly prepared and therefore the chef could accommodate a dairy free diet for a diner. Chic decor and comfortable chairs. Lovely
