Quayside - Canterbury

Just had an early dinner for 7 of us , and had to say the food was excellent and the service was even better . It had a great atmosphere and although not the first time we have eaten or just had a drink there all the staff were fantastic and we are looking forward to the next time . Thank you for a lovely family meal.

The pub itself was decent, but the meal I ordered, the Hunters Chicken, was terrible. It was dry and tough, with cheese that had congealed and what I assumed was barbecue sauce. Despite my disappointment, everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their meals. I regret not speaking up at the time and now wish I had. We had made a reservation and were served by friendly staff, which is why I gave them five stars, but unfortunately my meal fell short of expectations.

Very nice pub indeed. We had lunch at this lovely pub in whitstable. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent with the pricing of the menu reasonable too. The fish was fresh and huge, piping hot, and tasted delicious. We would recommend this pub highly, great place to eat or just have a drink.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is incredible, as are the food and drinks. After deciding to try out Quayside on our first day, we ended up going back every day of our trip. The food here is excellent - it truly is one of Whitstable's hidden gems!

Our 2nd visit this year and it didn't disappoint us. Great service and tasty food. 2 of us had the Ploughman's Lunch which was very filling indeed....the only disappointing item on the plate were the soft pickled onions...not at all crunchy. My sister- in- law is vegan so she selected the pumpkin and sweet potato curry with rice. She said it was absolutely delicious...but we all agreed thr portion could have been a bit bigger. The points above should not detract you from visiting...the food is VERY good
