The food was horrible and we were very disappointed to say the least. We really wanted to like this place and by giving it two stars I’m being very generous. We don’t recommend this place at all, and we won’t be back. After the snowbirds leave, your success will be determined by the locals.Too many other restaurants with much better food and less expensive. Sorry, you’re not going to make it here unless you change your chef, and you as the owner develop a personality real quick and be more welcoming to the customers.
We are germans and have been living in Cape Coral for 3 years. Last week we visited Stanijas European Restaurant for the first time. We were very suprised when we noticed that we were the only table in the entire restaurant. Other people did come in later on and looked just as suprised to find an almost empty restaurant. The food wasnt very good, it didnt taste like much ,i am not sure if they are using spices at all. The Wienerschnitzel tasted like it was microwaved, I was able to tell by how soggy the breading was. The Jagerschnitzel was dry and the creamy mushroom sauce was no help. The spatzle seemed as if they were leftover from a previous day. The potato pancakes were over fried to a crunchy crisp that left them dry. This was a big let down. The food and Beer was expensive. Not worth the money at all .
This was a pleasant surprise. Loved the food, although a bit overdone was still delicious. The spatzel was a treat and the sauerkraut was made with bacon and onions. The Apple Studel was to die for,...we are definitely going back.
Absolutely nasty,rude and overpriced
