Tomo - Cape Town

We had such an excellent time at the restaurant last night! It had such an unpretentious atmosphere due to its staff who are so inviting and just down to earth, right down to the owner. We had seats by the sushi bar which was the best choice as the sushi chef Michael was so engaging and such great fun lol Everything just made the food an experience in and of itself, especially watching the prep of the viper roll we ordered. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Oh my word TOMO is a gem!!! Not only is the food of top quality but the ambiance and decor is amazing and the staff, chef, owner compliment it even further. Best 1st experience at a restaurant for me. May your business thrive!!!

Had lunch with my mom there today- all the dumplings are amazing and the chicken leg with ginger is outstanding. The staff and owner are so warm and so friendly! We totally loved it and already planning future dinner parties at TOMO <3

Had such a fab night at Tomo! Lovely space staff most amazing food. The owner took special time to take my daughter aside and explain and show her the different teas, how they are made and why they are special. New favourite!

It's hard work to get food fresh and tasty and the mood of a dinner right. TOMO does everything perfect, down to the slightest details! The Chinese dumplings are heaven and the Japanese foods authentic... A must go!
