I came from mumbai and dubai and both places always have the best of the best kitchens and with good taste. dubai serves them especially all kinds of kitchens to the best. but my Greek cuzina hit it directly from the park for me with the lamb gyros. well boiled meat, perfect amount of tzatziki, salad and so a good pita packaging. and the menu itself has a lot to offer for all others. the lamb gyros is so delicious, will certainly try some other things on their menu, in the hope that it corresponds to my expectations. just mentioning a disappointment, I had asked for a disappointment and the...more
We enjoyed one of our better meals here in bulimba, but that doesn't say much because we found the food in bulimba a little underwhelming, which is a shame because it is a beautiful opposite hanging around without a goal (which is a thing for me). the restaurant is very tidy and has well thought out decoration that makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. we liked the feeling of the place, and our waiters were very friendly and attentive. the owner has a good feeling of humor with the chalkboard sign in front of the front. we ordered a taramasalata (Fish-Roh-Dip) with pide and a lamb-Yiro, and for dessert we ordered the galactoboureko. the lamb for the yiro was well cooked and was the best part...read more

We enjoyed one of our better meals here at Bulimba, but that's not saying much because largely we have found the food in Bulimba somewhat underwhelming, which is a pity because it's a nice area to hang around aimlessly (which is a thing for me). The restaurant is very neat and has well thought out decor, which makes for a very inviting atmosphere. We really liked the feel of the place, and our waiters were very friendly and attentive. The owner has a good sense of humour with the chalkboard sign out the front. We ordered a taramasalata (fish roe dip) with pide and a lamb yiro, and for dessert we ordered the galaktoboureko. The lamb for the yiro was cooked well and was the best part of the meal. The pide was served nice, soft and warm, even though it probably came from a packet. Our friendly Italian waitress was kind enough to substitute fries for lemon potatoes for us. The lemon potatoes were flavoursome, but not freshly made. The Greek salad was fresh, but lacked tomatoes and I would have preferred kalamata olives to green olives. Overall this dish rated a 3-3.5. The taramasalata was thick which I like, but it wasn't creamy like really good taramasalata. Nevertheless it taste quite good and rated a 3.5. The galaktoboureko was disappointing. There was no flavour of any honey, just sugar syrup and the pastry at the bottom was a little hard and raw. The chocolate syrup and icing sugar was also unwelcome. This rated a 2. Their performance with these dishes make me think they may struggle with more intricate preparations. If you're looking for a nice place to relax on a lazy afternoon at Bulimba and if you're looking for a reasonably satisfying simple meal, compared to the competition this seems like a decent option.
