Ruby's Diner - Carlsbad

For a bowl of veggies soup stopped. Saw at the bar. Jose was great! It came out how hot and delish. Service was fast and smooth.

The food was excellent and the service was even better. My husband recommends the mushroom burger. The only drawback was the noise. First the model train was sweet and juicy at the top, but after approx. 30 minutes the pipe was overlaid. Outside the food is ordered for our next visit. For Jose, he's a wonderful waiter.

Great burgers and I love the old school Diner Vibe. The food is great! I have the Ruby Classic, Pommes and a root beer boat. The swimmer was amazing! The burgers and pommes were quite normal. The service was fantastic! Our server was super friendly and he always served us with a smile! Our party enjoyed our experience at Ruby's Diner! 5/5 stars!

Had the ABC Omelet avocado, bacon and cheese), but I was in sausage. The omelet was dullly not overtaken light, rich and buttery. Also shown is the children's menu Burger and Pommes, definitely a good size portion! Service was great and it had a fun 50s diner atmosphere. Mimosas were very strong I asked for more oj) and you get a full mini bottle that really equals 2-3 mimosas depending on your ratio in the champagne flute! Fast, fun and tasty when a lil expensive... average for the tho area at cost.

Good food, fish and chips, I subbed with sweet potato fries. Tasty and big portion. Hubby got Guacamole burger, kids got grilled cheese and kids cheeseburger, they all seemed pretty basic good flavor. Strawberry lemonade had a weird taste we think from the Strawberry syrup. Server was nice but took a bit to first come get our drink order. Place is clean and lots of cool things to look at, model planes, trains and automobiles! Cool fun feature with the train track! No wait on a Tuesday afternoon
