Jollie's Fish And Chips Swiss Valley

One word TERRIBLE. Not sure if new owners but it has gone down hill. The place looked dirty the staff looked dirty as well. We waited a good 20mins as nothing ready so we thought we were having fresh. No think they must have cooked the chips earlier and put them back in so brown. The fish bites well no fish just very greasy batter. Won't be going back . Please avoid.

Terrible experience. It seemed like they were serving old, reheated food. I couldn't eat it. The chips were burnt and the oil had a bad smell. I also couldn't see any ratings sign displayed in the shop.

Service was abysmal.We were the only ones in the shop but still waited over 20 mins for chips.Staff very nice but overall selection not very good.It appears that due to a nearby very busy chip shop they only put the chips on when a customer enters therefore the long wait.Either they should try to compete with this other shop or just give up.Wont be visiting again.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. When I mentioned that I was new to the area, they told me about a special offer where you buy one order of fish and chips and get the second one for free. Since I couldn't eat two portions on my own, the lady kindly offered to give me an IOU slip so I could come back and enjoy my free meal another time. The food was delicious too.

I recently revisited Jolly's now that Andrew has returned, and what a difference! The fish is cooked perfectly and the chips are fresh and hot. My only issue now is trying to limit how many times I indulge in their fantastic fish and chips.
