What a fab find! Came here for lunch and was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were amazing value for money!! We thoroughly enjoyed our food anyone reading try the authentic menu items!!! Service was also top quality can’t fault the place! Really love the atmosphere here!!

Nice atmosphere. The locals were friendly. The only dowwnside was they didnt serve food and we wanted dinner. So we stayed for a drink and then wemt to the indian restaurant Eliachi up the road. Then we came back to the Black Lion for another couple of drinks.

The list was dog friendly, disabled access and toilet, great food and chilled atmosphere. All boxes ticked plus amazing food and great staff. Enjoyed a Sunday dinner starter was huge but so tasty and home made, main was a Sunday dinner that never left room for dessert. Would recommend we sat in the bar because of the dog, that can be unnerving being surrounded by locals but can honestly say they were welcoming as well. All round a great visit.
