I would strongly recommend going on Friday or Saturday morning, early enough before they run out, their apple fritters are absolutely spectacular. In autumn they have apple pastry, and for special occasions they produce holiday-specific items. The staff is always happy and helpful, no matter how early you get there. We will move out of the state this year and Sauer's Bakery will be one of the most missed places for us. Very recommended!!
I'm visiting this bakery for the second time. And I had an excellent impression. My coffee was made perfect and bought a family size cinnamon Danish for a friend's birthday. She said it was delicious.. Was a perfect gift for these rainy days. I had the pleasure of meeting an owner, Rachel. She was very kind and patient to explain to me about Dessert's selection. She told me how the family business started with her parents a few years ago. Promise more details next time. Almost at the time of closing?. I recommend it and propose to go early to get a better choice. #familybusiness #localbusiness #thebestofbloomingdale
Recently visited on a Saturday morning 10 a.m. Really good selection of coffee cakes and other items. Not crowded and very helpful staff. I ordered a cherry and a pancake. You have rave reviews from all those who tried a disk. Super fresh and tasteful. Some of the best cakes I had!
Ordered a blueberry cake for my mother-in-law's birthday as it is her favorite dessert and this cake was one of the best we have ever tried. We picked it up on Saturday at 9:00 and the bakery had a line to the door. My advice. Order in advance or arrive at 6:00 to get your goodies. They sell themselves fast.
The owners are some of the nicest people; very personable. They make you feel right at home. The liver dumpling soup was awesome. These are my 2 favorite items; I can’t wait to try more.
