Albisetti Giovanni - Carona

We arrived at this very quaint grotto on a beautiful sunny day with our dog and were welcomed by two very nice waiters or to be be precise waiter and cooks we ordered a salad for starters and to follow grilled small chicken. it was the first time that we had eaten outside because it was a beautiful sunny day which ment maybe more customers than they expected when our main dish arrived it was fantastic succulent just perfect you could see they were rushed of there feed but both had a great sense of humor i would definitely recommend this grotto and thank you for,a great lunch

We wanted to experience a typical grotto and chose to drive here because it was nearby. It was off season and besides a few locals we were the only guests for lunch. We ordered Polenta and meat. The polenta tasted carton like and was covered in old mushrooms. We returned the food after a few bites.

The surroundings, atmosphere and service is good. The food however was nothing special. The housevine is a good local merlot.

Red and white checked tablecloths, beautiful pergola, small windows with white curtains, very cozy and old fashioned but I wouldn't have it otherwise. The owner is very friendly, food is excellent, very relaxing atmosphere. The polenta is soft and the meat is tender.If you take the house wine it's ok but the wine list is pretty good and not at all expensive.Good service.

I am a filipina and my husband is a Swiss. We visit the place and it was nice and relaxing. We really enjoyed the Food with a very good dessert????????
