Zoup - Cascades

I will preface this by saying I?ve been to Zoup several times before and I?ve never had issues with their portion sizes or quality of products. They have always been slightly overpriced, but the quality was fine so I was okay with paying the price. Today I was in the Sterling, VA area and decided to stop by to pick up a ?pick two? soup and sandwich deal. Their customer service team was great, they greeted me at the door and politely offered for a taste sample on their variety soups. I ordered my lunch to go then opened the bag in my car to find that my ?sandwich? is extremely small, excessively greasy and tasted like cardboard with a hint of pesto. I could not believe how tiny the sandwich was!! Normally I would expect a half size sandwich and cup of soup for $6 like other similar sandwich shops offer but I paid $12.72 and not to mention the poor quality!! So, I did my diligence and called the Zoup store back to confirm that I wasn?t just mistakenly cheated on the ?deal?. I explained that this 4-inch half sandwich is pathetic, and they have over charged for this. The clerk explained that there is nothing he can do or offer and that I?m not the first person to complain about this. Management needs to take these complaints seriously or you will lose customers. I?m disgusted at their dishonesty in quality prices and I can reassure you I won?t be going back! I will be telling all my colleagues, friends, and family that Zoup will take your money without a second glance! Please save yourself the money and DON?T support their outrageously inflated sandwiches.

I've eaten here several times as I work in the area often and having the variety of a constantly rotating soup selection is always something to look forward to. Soups, sandwiches, salads and even mac and cheese! This place has just enough comfort foods to choose from with a friendly staff. The only thing I would change, THE only thing, is the music choice. The atmosphere is a cozy one, but the music is oldies. In my opinion some lofi jazz would attract more of the younger crowd to the restaurant. All in all I would absolutely recommend Zoup! to friends and family.

I had a fantastic lunch experience! The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was immaculate. Our food came out quickly, and both the soup and sandwich were served hot. I ordered the Cranberry Almond Sonoma salad along with a cup of Good Real Chicken Noodle soup, which definitely lived up to its name. We also shared a half Chicken Toscana sandwich, and it was delicious! This place is a must-visit for a satisfying (but not too heavy) lunch!

The bread here is the best I’ve ever had! The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and packed with lobster. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and inviting. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick. Definitely give this place a try—you won’t regret it!

There aren't many vegan options available. The salads and sandwiches weren't very tasty. However, the Impossible Tuscan bean soup was quite good.
