Villa Maria - CASTELLANA GROTTE

The food was gorgeous. Our family went on a music night. Had 5 courses ,wine, water ,lemoncello all for 25 euros a head. Live music and evening of dancing. Great atmosphere. We joined the italian diners dancing. The restaurant is just outside Alberrobello, shall definately visit it again.

Sad that we were the only people there, because it is a beautiful setting. We were offered a table inside or outside. We chose to eat outside. The service was good, as was their wine, and we started with the antipasti of the house, which was so filling that we skipped the pasta to move straight to the main course. The beef was excellent. Couldn't manage a desert so finished with coffee and a complimentary limoncello. The price was good.

On a lovely warm August evening we were surprised at how few tables were occupied. It has a stunning setting with wonderful gardens but when it came to the food something was missing! The antipasti were nice but nothing special... The pasta was excellent the second nice but dull. Service was lacklustre. The setting deserved better!!

Marco con tutto lo staff hanno reso il nostro giorno indimenticabile una vera favola d’amore con la loro cura del dettaglio, servizio, cura degli ospiti e pranzo sopraffino. Marco, eccellentissimo padrone di casa , ha aperto le sue porte dedicandosi in modo IMPECCABILE IN TUTTO DAL SERVIZIO ALL’OTTIMA QUALITÀ DEL PRANZO. Assolutamente da risaltare il coinvolgimento emotivo dello stesso. Grazie mille Marco di aver dato luce magia e favola al nostro matrimonio sei un Impeccabile professionista. Emma e Giovanna
